An autobiographical manuscript, with one item of outgoing and one item of incoming correspondence; a book review by Barnett of Prophet of plenty : the first ninety years of W.D. Weatherford, by Wilma Dykeman; and a vita. The manuscript covers Barnett's family background, his boyhood, his college years and his involvement with the YMCA, and life with his family both at home in the U.S. and in China. The mansucript was intended to run to three chapters but the final chapter was not written.
